" Oh Christmas Tree " 2009

It's sad that Christmas has already past and I am just now doing a post about our Christmas tree! LOL. Oh well, that's life I suppose.

Last year we began a very sweet tradition, on that I had as a child, of cutting down our christmas tree. Our friends RC Cola went along and we had a blast. This year we had to do it again. Although we went to a different tree ranch we loved it even more. There were a bazillion trees to choose from and we all just had a blast. RC Cola and their latest addition are just some of the best friends you could ever ask for in life. We are so glad we are making special moments with them.

After finding the perfect trees and discovering the Greek Fur we decided to head to lunch since the then pregnant Mommy Bing and I, the nursing mother were starving. We found a great little Mexican restaurant and had lunch. We headed back home and were perhaps the first people with a Christmas tree this year. Since Mommy B was expecting early December we made sure to get a tree the weekend before thanksgiving in order to uphold tradition. We had a great time. I can't wait till next year when our boys will be walking around and making our tradition even more special.

Shockingly enough this tree was 2 feet shorter than last year!

Baby O, trying this on now, had a blast with his Auntie Bing!

Lovies

As of late our little chunk, trying that on for size, has had a few little lovies as people call them. Some objects that he seems to grown quite fond of over the last month. I decided to document some lovie time. Below you see him with his little "raffi" (giraffe that plays music), snow globe ( spins around snow and plays music) and his flower! Yes I know flowers are for girls but it was the first object he ever grabbed and seems to love it all the same. Oh and I almost forgot...his fingers!

He has been a big fan of his fingers lately. Mostly gnawing on them. His favorite positions are to suck the first two or gnaw the last two. Thumb is for special occasions only apparently!

Cute or what!

I just need to say how much I love our little guy. As our friend Ctown says "You finally have a peacemaker in your house". Lol! Yes....a jab in the heart to us but yes he brings us the most joy. He is almost always pleasant and smiling and giggling! He teaches us so much as parents and as people. So thanks to our little peace maker who makes each day a little brighter!

Yes...I know it's a bit ironic that he smiles all the time but it very difficult to get that on camera! :o)

Maternity: RC Cola

So for our church photo club we decided to get some practice by offering free portraits to people we know. Since we know/knew lots of pregnant women we decided maternity photos would be a great place to start. So Mama Bing let us practice on her and her little bun. She was so cute! It was such a blast and it was sweet that her hubby came along for support and general amusement! I like alot of my shots. Probably becasue she was just glowing!

So here are some of my favorites. You can check out the entire set of photos I loved on my flickr page.

Baby B's Bash

Ok! It's been over two weeks since my last post. Our CF for our camera had been acting up and would not load our photos. So after many attempts and finally the help of a good ole friend we have them uploaded. SO lets recap on the last month and a half of events shall we!!

Our friends RC cola were pregnant and as you might guess some friends and I threw her a shower. It was great! Great food, close friends and some of the cutest homemade gifts ever! Since its been a while since I posted I'm going to try and keep these short. But here a re some photos of the days events.

Sweet November

The time has come to celebrate our Sweet Novembers. On November 24th 2005 my sweet husband and I "met" for the first time. On November 6th, 2008 we found out we were having our sweet little baby boy! And On November 7th 2009 our little guy has officially turned 4 months old. For some many reason I have come to anticipate and love the Novembers of my life. I'm so lucky to be the wife of a loving man, the mother of a sweet baby boy and a daughter of my Heavenly Father. I have made so many memories and have had so many moments in my life that are the cause of sheer celebration and joy. We are so blessed to have amazing family that care for us so dearly and to have friends who are always there by our side when we need them most.

But most of all I am thankful for the sun that rises in the east and sets on my little West! To the Sweetest November of our lives we could never be more grateful.

W's first Halloween : To Oz!

So most normal and sane people would probably just buy a cute Halloween costume for their baby, especially since having an infant is shockingly enough a very time consuming process. Well I'm not very normal! I was so excited to make our first family costumes, particularly one for Papa bear! So what would we be? The ideas were endless, until my loving husband vetoed them all. The rubles...no. Popeye...no. Mario Bros...no. Star wars...well you get the idea. So finally it was official "The wizard of Oz". It was a struggle to decided what Papa bear would be cutest as, scarecrow, lion or tin man. But the cowardly lion was the winner. I think in total it cost me $50 to make all three costumes. I mean, they were charging $55 for the lion costume I saw on the internet alone. After about 5 days worth of late nights sewing they we're all done. Not without help of course. D made over some old shoes of mine and transformed them into ruby slippers.

Halloween day was spent at the trunk-or-treat at church with all of our friends and their little ones. W was pretty tired from all the excitement but did pretty well. And of course Dorothy, Lion and scarecrow would not have been complete without a wicked witch! My mom came out for Halloween, no pun intended! She was a witch for Halloween! Perfect! And to add for another surprise we got a flapper girl too!! Our friend Syl came out to meet our little guy for the first time.
Syl, mom & W

A cross pollination of a bee and a bug! Hmm..wonder what he'll look like! :o)

Me and the Counts Gothic gal!

The crew(minus a couple families)! We are so blesses to have you all in our lives!

After a long day of excitement we walked to the nearest Mexican restaurant with some friends and got dinner to go. We tried to watch a movie but alas the lives of parents are too exciting at times and we inevitably fell asleep 20 minutes into the show. What movie you ask? Well the "Wizard of Oz" of course!

And scarecrow gets Dorothy! Heart and courage are a must! Who needs a brain! Love you hun!

Safety first People!!

This is just a mini post for safety. Just in case anyone wonders where their comments go...some times they get deleted! :o) No I'm not mean but Papa and Mama made a deal that whenever possible we would avoid using our real names on our blog. So if you mention our named our little Papa bear I just delete them. I know it seams cruel but I'm sure you all understand!

OZ: sneak peek

Halloween this year deserves a great post. But seeing how I'm exhausted from it, it will have to wait. In the mean time here are some pics to hold all you grandparents over till I regain strength!
